Wood & Ink Picture
Ever been to Japan? It is possible to see the Fuji-san from some spot in and around Tokio. Mount Fuji is really one of the most beautiful shield volcanos of the earth.
This picture evolved by following the grain, color variations and pattern of the wood. Some parts were kept natural, other were filled with ink to create this delicate landscape. Spalted maple and ink were used for this small wood picture. The frame is made with walnut and maple.
Picture Hanger is provided on the back.
8" x 5 1/4" x 3/4"
All my "follow the grain" artworks are originals and made as one of a kind.
